  • De-reserved areas for Asbestos, Lead & Gold Ore in Cuddapah, Kurnool, Chittoor & Guntur Districts vide G.O.Rt.No. 504., Ind.& Comm. (Mines. II) Department., Dated: 28.09.2001.
  • District Level Committees (Nalgonda, Rangareddy, Medak & Chittoor) constituted to identify Mining Zones vide G.O.Rt.No. 153., Ind.& Comm.(Mines. II) Department., � Dated: 01.03.2002.
  • Apportionment of 35 % of Seigniorage Fee is earmarked for Infrastructure Development in the Mining areas vide G.O.Ms.No. 28., Panchayat Raj & Rural Development (Pts. III) Department., Dated: 30.01.2002.
  • Mining Sadassus are convened by the Hon�ble Minister for Mines & Geology at District Head Quarters to know and solve the problems of Mining Industry. �Mining Sadassus are held for expeditious disposal of Mineral Concession applications.
    1. Mining Lease Application fee (U/R 3 (a) M.C.Rules 1960) enhanced from Rs. 500/- to Rs. 2,500/- vide G.S.R.21 (E), (Ministry of Coal, Department of Mines., Government of India) Dated: 11.01.2002.

    2. Prospecting License application fee (U/R 9 (2) (a) M.C.Rules 1960) enhanced for 1st Sq.KM or part thereof from Rs. 50/- to Rs. 250/- and each additional Sq.KM from Rs. 10/- to Rs. 50/-.

  • Application fee for revision (U/R 54 M.C.Rules 1960) enhanced from Rs. 500/- to Rs. 5000/- by Government of India vide G.S.R. 21 (E)., Dated: 11.01.2002.
  • Every Mining Plan for approval (U/R 22 BB (1a) shall be accompanied with a nonrefundable fee of Rs. 1000/- for every Sq.KM or part thereof of mining area (vide G.S.R. 21 (E)., Dated: 11.01.2002.)
  • Department of Mines & Geology and A.P.Mineral Development Corporation have participated in International Granite & Stone Fair, STONA�02 held at Bangalore in Feb�02. Hon�ble Minister for Mines & Geology has inaugurated the Seminar on �Geology & Mineral Resources�.
