Located on the river Godavari about five kilometers upstream of
Sone Bridge on the Hyderabad-Nagpur National High Way near Pochampad, the
Sriramasgar Project Stage-I is a multipurpose irrigation project.
The Sriramasagar Project under stage-I will irrigate an ayacut
of 9,68,640 acres of land in Nizamabad, Adilabad, Karimnagar and Warangal
Districts.
