The Andhra Pradesh State Irrigation Development Corporation Ltd.
is a State Government undertaking formed for the development and implementation
of irrigation projects in the State.
The main functions of the Corporation are:

Implement lift irrigation schemes, bore wells, tube wells and infiltration
wells

Provide irrigation facility to upland areas of small and marginal farmers and
other weaker sections of the society with the funds provided by Government
under various programmes either directly or through District administration and
handing over the same to beneficiaries/agencies for operation and maintenance
