The erstwhile Andhra Pradesh State Trading Corporation Limited
was incorporated on 5th June, 1970 under the Companies Act, 1956. APSTC was in
the business of exports and imports, insurance, fixed deposit, hire purchase,
air logistics and note books. After reforms, the erstwhile APSTC has undergone
major reforms and converted into AP Trade Promotion Corporation Limited with
effect from 01-11-2007. APTPC will be a catalyst in promoting, Trade, Commerce
and Industry in the State of Andhra Pradesh without directly get involved in
trading activities.
