The Andhra Pradesh State Housing Corporation Limited (APSHCL)
was formed in July 1979 as a Government company.
The main objectives of the Corporation are:

Implement schemes that provide housing for the benefit of
the people of the State, particularly the weaker sections of the society or
those affected by natural calamities such as cyclone and tidal waves

Undertake research and development activities in the field
of building construction and material management

Work with various Government Organisations and others to
build knowledge base in fields of building construction, land development,
environmental improvement and so on
