The A P Vigilance Commission deals with prevention of corruption and
maintenance of integrity in public services, ensuring fair exercise of
administrative powers vested in various authorities under the State Government.
The main objectives of the Commission are:

Advise the Government on matters relating to corruption, misconduct, lack of
integrity or other malpractices or misdemeanour on the part of public servants
under the executive power of the State

Inquire into any transaction in which any public servant, including a member of
an All India Service, is suspected or alleged to have acted for an improper
purpose or in a corrupt manner

Investigate complaints of corruption, malpractices, misconduct or lack of
integrity

Investigate criminal misconduct in the discharge of official duties under the
Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988
