The Board conducts various awareness programmes like Clean
and Green, Competitions at School level, and College level, water harvesting
programmes, National Green Corps. , etc. The other events like Ozone day, Environmental
day are also celebrated.

Implementation of the World Bank supported integrated media-mobile
awareness package, AV based programmes for children and teachers through TV
channels, the MoEF-GOI sponsored Green army scheme, besides the continuing district
level training and mobile engagements.

The Board also publishes technical journals for waste minimization,
cleaner production, and other articles pertaining to pollution prevention and
control.
