The Directorate of School Education is formed with the objective of providing
primary education to all children in the State.
The main functions of the Directorate are:

Provide schooling facilities for all children of age group between 6–14 years
-
Provide primary schools, upper primary schools and high schools within the
vicinity of each locality

Offer training programmes to enhance skills of teachers in the State

Process requests to correct erroneous personal data in SSC/HSC/SSLC/HSLC
certificates and school records
