Andhra Pradesh Information Centre is a unit of the Department of Information
& Public Relations functioning with the following objects: |

01. It is the primary medium for projecting Socio, Economic, Industrial
and Cultural activities of Govt. of Andhra Pradesh. |

02.Provides latest information to the Union Ministries, Embassies, Press,
the public and others on all matters of Andhra Pradesh . |
|
03.Organises Press conferences for the Chief Minister, Ministers and other
V.I.Ps whenever they require | |
04.Issues press releases. |
|
05.Organises Press tours as and when required . |
|
06. Provides information on welfare and developmental activities of the
Government |
|
07. Provides background material to the press in respect of all the welfare
schemes and developmental activities of the Government. |
|
08. Organises photo exhibitions depicting policies and programmes of the
State Government. |
|
09. Runs a Library-cum-Reading room. |
|
10. Organises cultural activities at Delhi as a Cultual Centre of Andhra
Pradesh |
|
11 Participates in the IITF and other prominent fairs every year at Delhi. |
