BANGARU THALLI - ‘BANGARU TALLI’ incentivises achieving of certain milestones in the life of the girl child born on or after 1st May 2013 from birth till she achieves 21 years. Scheme not only confers certain entitlements & provides universal access to girl children, but also provides a yearly pay-out on achieving well-defined milestones using Direct Benefit Transfer protocol.Government undertakes to promote & monitor growth of ALL girl children born in economically backward households for at least 21 years after birth, an arrangement proposed to be formalised through a legislative framework.

STHREE NIDHI CREDIT CO OPERATIVE FEDERATION - Sthreenidhi has been set up as an alternative to micro finance institutions offering loans to SHGs at nominal interest rates. Sthree Nidhi Credit Cooperative Federation is promoted by Mandal Mahila Samakhyas and Federations of Self Help Groups (SHGs) at Mandal level, in association with the Government of Andhra Pradesh. Sthree Nidhi’ is specifically created to meet needs of women • To supplement credit to SHG members while ensuring that SHGs give first priority for availing of loans from banking sector and then only look at the option to avail from ‘Sthree Nidhi.

Community Managed Sustainable Agriculture-CMSA-Sustained efforts to make agriculture as economically viable and ecologically sustainable activity, without compromising on yields and improving returns per unit of land and water, to improve the quality of farmer’s life • To improve the annual incomes of farmers in Rain fed areas in particular and agriculture in general with integrated farming systems. • Developing new tools and equipment for reducing drudgery to women farmers. • Establishing village level infrastructure for supply of these tools.• Upgrading women farmer's knowledge in eco-friendly farming technologies. • Organizing capacity building programs with new training content and improved methods. • Managing revolving fund for decentralized extension system leading to multiple livelihood options models to be managed communities on their own.

KRuSHE- KRuSHE wing under SERP has been incepted to promote entrepreneurship in Farm and Non-farm livelihoods among the members of rural SHG households with focus on POP on saturation basis and to engage each household in an entrepreneurial activity for drought proofing the rural households.

Community Managed Health and Nutrition - The Community Managed Health and Nutrition (CMH&N) intervention utilizes trained community members in the form of Health Activist (HA) and Community Resource Person (CRP) to transmit messages about maternal, neonatal, infant care practices to SHGs and village organizations. The major objectives of training are demystifying medicine, using health education with local case studies and culture, promoting self confidence amongst community members, decision making & managing by the community, and integrating other social reforms to reduce overall poverty. IKP has also integrated training of Health Sub Committee, which consists of internal members of the community to provide critical monitoring and feedback on HN activities at village, mandal and district level.

Persons with Disabilities – PWD - Recognising that Persons with disabilities are among the poorest and most vulnerable of the poor the SERP has initiated Disability interventions as Pilot project in 138 Project mandals in the State. 223081 PWDs mobilized in to 22329 SHGs by forming 138 MVSs & 3 ZVSs with an Objective that the Pilot experiment are to evolve a model of institutional relationship between Community Based Organizations (CBOs) of Persons with Disabilities and various government and Non-government stakeholders and make them as resource mandals to replicate the same in non programme mandals. Persons with Disabilities are organized at Village, Mandal and District level as Community Based Organisations (CBOs), and access services from financial institutions, women federations and other institutions for improving the quality of their life. Organizing the PWDs through social mobilization • Creation of suitable livelihood opportunities through linkages • Provision of Livelihood support • Improving better quality of life • Sensitisation Support through CBOs.

Unnathi – Poor of Poorest - The non-inclusion of the lowest strata of poor into the gamut of many development schemes has become a matter of serious concern to SERP in the past couple of years. To address this critical gap, SERP evolved a more targeted and focused approach under IKP, to fight the poverty of the poorest. Though the internal components of SERP tried to tackle this in their own ways the organisation needed a comprehensive and focused strategy.

DAIRY-IKP is has started the initiative of Profitable Dairying by Establishing Milk Procurement Centers in villages and Bulk Milk Cooling Units ( BMCUs) at mandal level through SHGs and their federations in two mandals on Pilot basis in 2006-07 and has reached to the present level of managing 199 BMCUs with more than 4500 village level milk procurement centers and have procured 77122 MTs of milk worth Rs.16966 lakhs during the year 2009-10.

ABHAYA HASTHAM- Government of Andhra Pradesh introduced Pension and Insurance Scheme for the Indira Kranthi Patham(Rural and Urban) SHG women in November 2009 to provide income security in their old age. The aim was to provide security to all enrolled SHG women with dignity in their old age.

Integrated Watershed Management Programme - IWMP- The Department of Rural Development implemented watersheds through different programmes viz. Integrated Wastelands Development Programmes,Drought Prone Areas Programme and Desert Development programme.Based on the recommendations of Technical Committee under the Chairmanship of Prof. C.H. Hanumantha Rao, Department of Land resources,Government of India launched new integrated program on watershed development called Integrated Watershed Management Programme (IWMP) in 2008.

In a rural landless household, when every day living is a struggle, it is difficult to face life with a smile. And it becomes even more difficult when the future of the landless labour family is uncertain. It is a overwhelming Social Security Measure for 38.00 lakh landless agricultural laborers in the State of Andhra Pradesh w.e.f 31.03.2008, so far ever taken place in the entire history of not only Andhra Pradesh but entire India.

ANDHRA PRADESH SOCIAL SECURITY PENSIONS - The Government of Andhra Pradesh decided to bring the disbursement of all pensions under one umbrella by transferring the widow pensions from Social Welfare Department and disabled pensions from Disabled Welfare Department to the Rural Development Department w.e.f. 1.4.2006.

Pavalavaddi Scheme & VADDILENI RUNNALU- The Government of Andhra Pradesh introduced Pavalavaddi Scheme (Interest Subsidy) during the year 2004-05 with an objective to provide interest subsidy on the Bank loans taken by the Self Help Groups in Andhra Pradesh to reduce the financial burden on them. The Scheme is applicable to all loans extended by banks on or after 01.07.2004, under SHG Bank Linkage Programme In the light of bank linkage program with PAVALAVADDI and VADDILENI RUNNALU a huge amount of money is transacted by the SHG members in the name of total financial inclusion covering even the swapping of old debts. It is proud to inform that Govt. of AP leads in SHG Bank Linkage Program with 40% of all bank loans given to SHGs in India.
