    2. From the E.D.APIIC (Chairman of Tech.Commit6tee) Letter dated 15.10.1999.

ORDER:

In the G.O.st.read above, ordershave been issued constituting a Technical Committee under the Chairmanship of SriJ.R.K.Rao, IAS., Executive Director, APIIC, in order to advise the Committee ofSecretaries in short-listing the Consultants from among the Consultants who have respondedto the invitation of interest in the news papers in various fields. Accordingly, theTechnical Committee has classified the members into three categories and placed them intovarious categories, and submitted their recommendations to the Government in the letterand read above.

2. Based on the approval of theCommittee of Secretaries, Government hereby approve the following Panel ofConsultants/Architects based on the recommendations of the Technical Committee.

Category I: Consultants of Nationaland International who would be considered for very large and

prestigious projects in the State.

3. Category III projects areprojects upto Rs.1 crore in District Towns & Places. Category.II Projects are projectsupto 3 crores. Category.I projects are prestigious projects & ordinarily should beabove Rs.3 crores, but sometimes can be less.

4. For Category.II & IIIprojects, all firms are to construed operating from Hyderabad, for example, if some one isfrom outside the State, travel & for diem from the place of the firm to Hyderabad willnot be admissable, but the same will be admissable from Hyderabad or the closest gatewayas the case may be.

5. The Director of Tourism isdirected to take necessary action for ensuing that services of only the empanelledarchitects are taken for construction of hotels, resorts, wayside amenities &restaurants. These empanelled architects/firms are also to be engaged for District levelprojects of similar categories.

6. Their fees will be governed bythe Council of Architecture rate at the ceiling level.

7. APTTDC will also draw upon theservices of empanelled architects only as and when they carry out work of some nature fromtheir funds.

8. Director of Tourism/ManagingDirector, APTTDC Ltd will also inform their empanelled architects about their empanelment.
