ORDER:

 

            The following notification will be published in the extra ordinary issue of Andhra Pradesh Gazette dated: 10th,  June, 2005.

NOTIFICATION

 

            In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of Section 6 -A of the Andhra Pradesh Motor Vehicles Taxation Act, 1963 (Act No. 5 of 1963) and  in supersession of Notification issued in G.O.Ms.No.153, TR&B(Tr.II) Dept., dated:1st December, 2001, the Governor of Andhra Pradesh hereby specify 5 (Five) percentum of gross traffic earnings in respect  of Town (Urban) services and  7 ( Seven) percentum of gross traffic earnings in respect of other services as Motor Vehicle Tax which shall be payable by every registered owner, who owns or keeps in his possession or control  more than two thousand Motor Vehicles for plying on hire or reward with effect from the 1st, July, 2005 subject to the following conditions, namely:-

 

(1) Town (Urban) services shall include plying on the strength of pucca permits covered by schemes published to run stage carriages as town services and temporary permits beyond scheme provisions in Hyderdbad, Visakhapatnam, Vijayawada and Warangal cities.

(2) Separate financial accounts shall be maintained for Town (Urban) and  other services for the purpose of filing statements for preliminary and final assessment of taxes.
