O R D E R:

    TheENC (R&B) A&EAP in his letter read above has stated that a notification was issuedinviting private parties to take up the work for construction of bridge across Polarajudrain in Km.56/4 of Bhimavaram - Gudivada road (via) Kaikaluru in Krishna District on BOTbasis. In response to the notification, the bids were received for the work from differententreprenuers and the bids were opened on 25-5-99. The Technical Committee has examinedthe bids received from different entreprenuers in detail and recommended the offer ofM/s.Progressive Constructions Ltd., Hyderabad with a condition that in case theconstruction of the bridge is completed earlier the firm is allowed to collect toll onlyupto a maximum of 10% of the concession period, i.e. 2.4 months (or) whatever the periodby which the bridge is completed earlier than the period indicated i.e. 15 monthswhichever is lesser. He has therefore requested to issue necessary orders for theconstruction of the above bridge.

2. Government aftercareful consideration of the matter hereby approve the offer of M/s.ProgressiveConstructions Ltd., Hyderabad, for construction of bridge across Polaraju drain in Km.56/4of Bhimavaram - Gudivada road (via) Kaikaluru in Krishna District on BOT basis asrecommended by the Technical Committee with the condition mentioned in para (1) above.

3. This order issues withthe concurrence of Finance and Planning (Fin.EBS.XVII) Department vide theirU.O.No.46074/914/EBS.XVII/99, dated: 10-12-99.
