O R D E R:

    TheEngineer-in-Chief (R&B), A&EAP, in his letter read above has stated that anotification was issued inviting private parties to take up the work for construction ofbridge in Km.36/10 of Machilipatnam - Nuzvid - Kallur road across Chandraiah drain inGudivada town of Krishna District on BOT basis. In response to the notification, the bidswere received for the work from different entreprenuers and the bids are opened on25-5-99. The Technical Committee has examined the bids received from differententreprenuers in detail and recommended the offer of M/s.Progressive Constructions Ltd.,Hyderabad with a condition that in case the construction of bridge is completed early, themaximum bonus period for collection of toll allowed will be limited to 10% of theconcession period (i.e.) 3 months or whatever period by which the bridge is completedearlier than the period indicated (i.e.) 15 months whichever is lesser. He has thereforerequested to issue necessary orders for the construction of the above bridge.

2. Government aftercareful consideration of the matter and approve the offer of M/s. ProgressiveConstructions Ltd., Hyderabad for construction of bridge at Km.36/10 of Machilipatnam -Nuzvid - Kallur road across Chandraiah drain in Gudivada town of Krishna District on BOTbasis as recommended by the Technical Committee with the conditions mentioned in para (1)above.

This order issues withthe concurrence of the Finance and Planning (FW.EBS.XVII) Department vide theirU.O.No.46085/912/ EBS.XVII/99, dated: 10-12-99.
