ORDER:  

           The Chief Executive Officers, Zilla Parishads, Vizianagaram, Rangareddy, Kurnool,Warangal, Adilabad, Ananthapur, Khammam, Medak and Mahabubnagar Districts have remittedthe contribution towards General Provident Fund of Panchayati Raj Employees for the year1999-2000 as per the orders issued in G.O. first read above.  

2.         TheDirector, Local Fund Audit, in his Letters 2nd to 10th read above,have certified figures and submitted consolidated proposals for payment of interest. 

3.            Government haveexamined the proposals and hereby sanction an amount of Rs.29,87,66,545/- (Rupees TwentyNine Crores, Eighty Seven Lakhs, Sixty Six thousand, five hundred and forty five only) tothe Zilla Parishads as detailed in the Annexure to this order towards payment of intereston General Provident Fund balances credited by the Zilla Parishads and recredited toGovernment Account.  

4.         The expenditure sanctioned inpara-3 above, shall be debited to the Head of Account “ 2049 – Interest Payments– 03 – Interest on small savings provident funds etc – M.H. 104 –Interest on State Provident Funds – SH(09) – Interest on General Provident FundDeposits made by P.R. Employees.” 

5.         The District Treasury Officersconcerned are hereby requested  to adjust thereleased amounts shown in Col:5 of the Annexure to this order to the Head of Account“ 8338- Deposits of Local Funds – MH 104 – Deposits of autonmious bodies– SH (01) – Deposits of Zilla Parishads out of Provident FundContribution.” After receipt of budget authorisation from the Chief Accounts Officer,Panchayat Raj & Rural Development Department. 

6.         The Panchayat Raj & RuralDevelopment (Accts.II) Department shall obtain supplementary grants at the appropriatetime during the current financial year 2000-2001 for the actual expenditure incurred.  If necessary and in    case it islikely to exceed the Budget Estimate provision for 2000-2001. 

7.         The Chief Executive Officers,Zilla Parishads, Vizianagaram, Rangareedy, Kurnool, Warangal, Adilabad, Ananthapur,Khammam, Medak and Mahabubnagar Districts are requested to see that the amounts nowreleased are    got adjusted immediately and the fact of adjustmentintimated to Panchayat Raj & Rural Devlopment(Accts.II/VI/Audit .III) DepartmentSeparately. 

8.         This Order issues with theconcurrance of Fin & Plg (FW.W&M.I)Dept vide theirU.O.No:39348/1366/A3/W&M/2000, dated:4.12.2000.
