O R D E R:

            In her representation first read above, Smt. Ch. Jyothi, Secondary Grade Teacher, M.P. Elementary School, Sivannagudem, Nalgonda District has stated that she was selected as SGT during 2000-01 DSC and posted at Sivannagudem in Nalgonda District.  Her Husband who is totally blind is working as Teacher in Zilla Parishad, Visakhapatnam District and it is highly difficult for her to carry on her profession at Sivannagudem being a blind lady.  She has requested the Government to consider her case on sympathetic grounds for transfer from M.P. Elementary School, Sivannagudem to Visakhapatnam Municipal Corporation where her husband and relatives are staying.

2.         The Commissioner & Director of School Education, Hyderabad in his letter third read above has stated that the District Educational Officer, Nalgonda has submitted that there is no objection, if the applicant is transferred on inter District transfer to Visakhapatnam district where her husband is working under spouse case and that the District Educational Officer, Visakhapatnam has submitted that as per the instructions of the Commissioner & Director of School Education, the inter district transfer was referred to Municipal Corporation of Visakhapatnam for their consent.

3.         The Commissioner, Municipal Corporation of Visakhapatnam in his letter fifth read above has submitted that Smt. Ch. Jyothi, Secondary Grade Teacher, Nalgonda District is a D.S.C. - 2001 candidate and as such she does not fulfill the conditions laid down in Government Memo No.23615/N2/2001-1 M.A. dated 25.02.2002, for inter district  transfers of teachers.   He has informed that there are 64

 S.G.T. posts vacant in Visakhapatnam Municipal Corporation.  In his further letter seventh read above, the Commissioner, Municipal Corporation of Visakhapatnam has stated that the Council in its resolution No.473/2004, dated 6.12.2004 resolved to accept the transfer of Smt. Ch. Jyothi, S.G.T., Nalgonda District to Visakhapatnam Municipal Corporation.  

4.            Government after careful examination of the matter hereby transfer Smt. Ch. Jyothi, SGT, M.P. Elementary School, Sivannagudem, Nalgonda District to Visakhapatnam Municipal Corporation on spouse grounds as a ‘Special case’ since both husband and wife are totally blind, in relaxation of the instructions issued in Govt. Memo No.23615/N2/2001-1, dated 25.02.2002 of Municipal Administration & Urban Development Department, subject to condition that the individual should take last rank among the Secondary Grade Teachers working in Visakhapatnam Municipal Corporation and she should not claim any  TTA., as the transfer is considered on her request.

5.         The Commissioner & Director of School Education, Hyderabad is requested to arrange to relieve the individual, so as enable her to join in Visakhapatnam Municipal Corporation.

6.         The Commissioner, Municipal Corporation of Visakhapatnam is requested to issue necessary posting orders to the individual, immediately.

 

7.         This order issues with the concurrence of Finance (W&M) Department vide their U.O.No.21587/757/A2/W&M/2005, dated 12.08.2005.
