NOTIFICATION

In exercise of the powers conferred under sub-section (1) of Section 9 of the Vijayawada Municipal Corporation Act, 1981 and sub-section (1) of Section 70-G of Hyderabad Municipal Corporation Act, 1955 read with Section 7 of the Vijayawada Municipal Corporation Act, 1981, the Governor of Andhra Pradesh hereby extend the term of the Special Officer of the Vijayawada Municipal Corporation to exercise the powers, perform the duties and discharge the functions of the Corporation, the Standing Committee and the Ward Committee for a further period of one month from 29.9.2005 AN or until elected council come into office, whichever is earlier.
