ORDER:

 

 

            In the G.O. 1st read above, Government have issued orders appointing Special Officers to Guntur, Warangal and Kurnool Municipal Corporations. The term of the Special Officers will expire by 29.3.2005.

 

2.         The Commissioner and Director of Municipal Administration, Hyderabaad, in the reference 2nd read above, has requested to extend the term of the Special Officers of the above Municipal Corporations for a period of one  month or till the date of first meeting, whichever is earlier.

 

3.         The appended Notification shall be published in an Extraordinary issue of the Andhra Pradesh Gazette dated 28.9.2005.

 

4.         The Commissioner of Printing, Stationery and Stores Purchase, Andhra Pradesh, Hyderabad is requested to furnish (150) copies  of the Gazette conveying the notification to the Government.

NOTIFICATION

 

In exercise of the powers under sub-section (1) of Section 70-G of the Hyderabad Municipal Corporation Act, 1955, read with section 14 of Andhra Pradesh Municipal Corporations Act, 1994, the Governor of Andhra Pradesh hereby extend the term of the Special Officers of Guntur, Warangal and Kurnool Municipal Corporations to exercise the powers and perform the duties and discharge the functions of the Corporation, the Standing Committee and the Ward Committee for a further period of one (1) month from 29.9.2005 AN or till the elected Councils come into office, whichever is earlier.
