ORDER:

 

In the reference first read above, Smt Nooguri Rajitha has represented that she got a daughter in the year 1994 and in second delivery she got two children as twins in the year 2004 and she intended to contest in Municipal Elections, 2005 as Corporator in 18th ward of Karimnagar Municipal Corporation. He has requested the government to exempt her under 3rd Proviso of section 21-B of the Hyderabad Municipal Corporation Act 1955, so as to contest as Corporator in Karimnagar Municipal Corporation.

 

2.         In the reference 2nd read above, the District Collector, Karimnagar has reported that Smt. Nooguri Rajitha delivered twins in second delivery after having one female child in first delivery.

 

3.            Government have examined the matter carefully. It is observed that the individual got two children as twins in second delivery. Therefore, Government decided to exempt her from disqualification under 3rd proviso of section 21-B of the Hyderabad Municipal Corporation Act, 1955. Accordingly, Government hereby direct that the disqualification under section 21-B of the Hyderabad Municipal Corporation Act, 1955 shall not apply in respect of Smt Nooguri Rajiha, W/o Raghu, R/o 18th Ward Division, Karimnagar Municipal Corporation, Karimnagar District.

 

4.         The District Collector, Karimnagar / Commissioner, Karimnagar Municipal Corporation shall take necessary action accordingly.
