ORDER:
In the G.O. first read above,
Government have issued guidelines for identification of B.C.Voters in order to
follow the rule 9 of APM (Reservation of seats in Municipal councils and Nagar
Panchayats) Rules, 1995.
2. In the letter 2nd read above,
the Commissioner and Director of Municipal Administration has stated that the
existing term of the Municipal Councils will expire by 28.3.2005.
The ordinary elections for the Office of the Members shall be taken up
after identification of B.C.Voters.
Therefore the identification of B.C.Voters has to be completed at an
early date to facilitate the reservation to the Office of the chairpersons and
reservations of members for
B.C.Category. The Commissioner
and Director of Municipal Administration has requested the Government to issue
instructions for identification of
B.C.Voters.
4. In the reference 4th read
above the Commissioner and Director of Municipal Administration has furnished
draft time schedule for identification of B.C.Voters in Municipalites.
5 Government after careful
consideration of the proposals of the Commissioner and Director of Municipal
Administration, hereby, order the following schedule for identification of
B.C.Voters as per 2001 census following the guidelines issued in the G.O.1st
read above.
