ORDER:

In the reference 1st  read above, rules  were issued for fixation of strength of elected members in Nagara Panchayats and Municipal Councils in the State.  In the reference 2nd read above, orders were issued notifying the strength of the elected members of each Municipality. 

 

2.    In the reference 3rd read above, the Commissioner and Director of Municipal Administration has submitted the proposals  and requested the Government to issue instructions  for finalization of  ward divisions.

 

3.       In the reference 5th read above, the  Commissioner and Director of Municipal Administration  has furnished draft time schedule for delimitation of Municipalities into wards.

 

4.          Government after careful examination hereby issue the following schedule for finalization of ward divisions as per 2001 census in the Municipal Councils of Andhra Pradesh.

5.       The Commissioner and Director of Municipal Administration  shall  take necessary  action accordingly and issue detailed instructions to Municipal Commissioners in this regard.  He shall also set up an Election cell to monitor the entire Election process and report compliance.
