ORDER:
In
pursuance of the recommendations of the Commissioner and Director of Municipal
Administration, Hyderabad, in his letter third read above, and in view of the
provisions under the Andhra Pradesh Municipalities (Gradation of Municipal
Councils and Nagar Panchayats) Rules, 1995, the Government after careful
examination have decided to constitute the Pulivendula Municipality by merging
the local areas of six Grampanchayts of Kadapa District into the limits of
Pulivendula as it satisfies Rule 3 of A.P. Transitional Area and Smaller Urban
Areas (Fixation of Criteria) Rules, 1995 issued in G.O.Ms.No. 39 MA&UD
Department, dated 3.2.1995. In the reference 4th read above, the
PR&RD Department have issued orders de-notifying the following six
Grampanchayats of Kadapa District for
their merger into the limits of Pulivendula.

Polipalli
4.
Chinna Rangapuram
5.
Pedda Rangapuram
6.
Brahmanapalli
2. Accordingly, the following two Notifications shall be published in the Andhra Pradesh Gazette:-
3. The
Commissioner, Printing, Stationery and Stores purchase, Hyderabad is requested
to publish the Notification in the Extraordinary issue of Andhra Pradesh
Gazette, dated 3.6.2005 and to furnish
100 copies to the Government.
In exercise of the powers conferred under Clause (42-a) of section 2, and section 3 of the Andhra Pradesh Municipalities Act, 1965 read with rule 3 of the Andhra Pradesh Transitioinal Area and Smaller Urban Areas (fixation of criteria) Rules, 1995 and in supersession of the Notification issued in G.O.Ms.No. 26, M.A&U.D (Elec.II) Department, dated the 12th January, 2005, the Governor of Andhra Pradesh hereby specify the local area of Pulivendula (Nagarpanchayat) and following local areas of the erstwhile Grampanchayats as Smaller Urban Area with immediate effect and thus the Pulivendula Municipality is deemed to have been constituted under sub-section (1) of section 3 of the aforesaid Act:-

In exercise of the powers
conferred by clause (22) of section 2 of the Andhra Pradesh Municipalities Act,
1965 (Andhra Pradesh Act 6 of 1965)
read with rule 3 of the Andhra Pradesh Municipalities (Gradation of Municipal
Councils and Nagar Panchayats) Rules, 1995 the Governor of Andhra Pradesh
hereby declares, the Pulivendula Municipality as third Grade Municipality, with
immediate effect.
