ORDER:
In
the G.O. first read above, Government have fixed the strength of the elected
members of Miryalaguda Municipality (Grade-II)
as 40. Accordingly, the draft delimitation of 40 wards of Miryalaguda
Municipality has been notified in G.O. 3rd read above.
2. In
the G.O. 2nd read above, Government have issued orders upgrading the
Miryalaguda Municipality from Grade-II to Grade-I. The C&DMA has requested the Government to re-fix the strength
of elected members of Miryalaguda Municipality (Grade-I) as 34 in terms of
G.O.Ms.No.468, M.A. & U.D. (Elec) Department, dated 2.11.2004 duly
canceling the orders issued in the reference 1st & 3rd
read above.
3. Government
after careful examination, hereby refix
the strength of elected members of Miryalaguda Municipality as 34 duly
cancelling the orders issued in the G.O 3rd read above.
4. The appended
notification shall be published in the extra-ordinary issue of Andhra Pradesh Gazette dated the
21-04-2005.
5. The
Commissioner, Printing, Stationery and Stores Purchase, Hyderabad is requested
to send (100) copies of the notification to the Government urgently.

of powers conferred by clause (i) of sub-section (2) of Section 5 of the Andhra
Pradesh Municipalities Act, 1965 read with the Andhra Pradesh Municipalities
(Fixation of strength of Nagarpanchcyats and Municipal Councils ) Rules, 2004
issued in G.O.Ms.NO.468, M.A. & U.D. (Elect.II) Department, dated
2.11.2004, the Governor of Andhra Pradesh hereby re-fix and notify the strength
of the elected members of Miryalaguda Municipality as indicated in the table
