Municipal Administration and Urban Development Department Conversion of Land Use concerning religious properties No Objection Certificate from the District Collectors, A.P.State Wakf Board / Minority Welfare Department Orders Issued.

O R D E R:
In the recent past number of proposals are being received by the Government for change of land use concerning religious properties and in many cases it is observed by the Government that while sending such proposals the Director of Town and Country Planning, Hyderabad / Vice-Chairman of Urban Development Authorities have not obtained the No Objection Certificate from the District Collectors concerned.
2. Therefore, with a view to prevent the exploitation of religious properties to use the same for some other purposes by the un-authorised persons , Government hereby direct the Director of Town and Country Planning, Hyderabad / Vice-Chairman of Urban Development Authorities that, henceforth before sending change of land use proposals concerning religious properties they should insist for NOC from concerned District Collector. Further, in the case of Muslim religious properties they should also insist for NOC from the A.P.State Wakf Board and the Government in Minority Welfare Department and without such NOCs no change of land use proopsal should be sent to Government for consideration.
3. The Director of Town and Country Planning, Hyderabad and Vice-Chairman of all Urban Development Authorities are directed to follow the above instructions scrupuolously.
