No. 4957/2004/EE(UGD), dated 11.6.2004. ***** O R D E R: In the letter read above, the Municipal Commissioner, Visakhapatnam Municipal Corporation has stated that the Government have accorded an administrative sanction in G.O.Ms.No. 269 MA, dated 11.06.1999 for the proposed Under Ground Drainage Scheme, under Visakhapatnam Comprehensive Sewerage Scheme-Phase -II (Sub phase -II) for Rs.20 Crores. But, as the proposals to take up the Sewage Treatment Plant under BOOT system are not likely to be materialized in near future, the Visakhapatnam Municipal Corporation decided to execute the Sewage Treatment Plant concurrently with the ongoing Under Ground Drainage Scheme, with its own finances. Accordingly, the proposals were worked out to take up the Sewage Treatment Plant in a phased manner, depending upon the House Service connections and as a part of it, a 10MLD Sewage Treatment Plant with Extended Aeration Technology is proposed with an estimated cost of Rs.4 Crores, under Visakhapatnam Comprehensive Sewerage Scheme-Phase-II (Sub phase-II) Stage-II. 2. The Municipal Commissioner, Visakhapatnam Municipal Corporation has also stated that the Corporation has resolved to request the Government to accord administrative sanction for Уconstruction of 10 MLD Sewage Treatment Plant near old drainage pumping station under Visakhapatnam Comprehensive Sewerage Scheme - Phase-II (Sub phase-II) State ЦIIФ with an estimated cost of Rs. 4 Crores, with its own finances. Accordingly, he has requested the Government to accord administrative sanction for the same. 3. Government after examination of the matter hereby accord administrative sanction for Уconstruction of 10 MLD Sewage Treatment Plant near old drainage pumping station under Visakhapatnam Comprehensive Sewerage Scheme Ц Phase-II (Sub phase-II) State ЦIIФ with an estimated cost of Rs.4 Crores (Rupees four Crores), with its own finances. 4.
