ORDER :
In the Government Orders read above, the Government have enunciated a strategy for ensuring planned development of new townships in the urban areas of Andhra Pradesh through the Urban Development Authorities/ Municipal Corporations/Municipalities who would facilitate the land development, while the housing development and related facilities would be undertaken by the AP Housing Board.
2. In the above participatory process, the transfer of lands to AP Housing Board and resolution of conflicts that may arise, are important and crucial aspects that need to be addressed. Government have examined the matter carefully and hereby constitute a Committee with the following members:
a) Special Chief Secretary (Housing) -- Chairman
b) Principal Secretary (Revenue) -- Member
c) Principal Secretary (MA&UD) -- Member
d) Director of Town & Country Planning -- Member-Convener
3. The above Committee would be responsible for adjudication in the matter of conflicts and also for transfer of lands to AP Housing Board. The decision of this committee would be binding on the Urban Development Authority / Municipal Corporation/Municipality and the AP Housing Board.
