In exercise of powers conferred by clause (i) of sub-section (2) of Section 5 of the Andhra Pradesh Municipalities Act, 1965 read with the Andhra Pradesh Municipalities (Fixation of strength of Nagarpanchayats and Municipal Councils) Rules, 1994 issued in G.O Ms.No.42 M.A dated the 4^th February, 1995 and in supersession of all the previous Notifications on the subject, for the purpose of conduct of next ordinary elections due in due course, the Governor of Andhra Pradesh hereby notifies that the strength of the elected members of each Municipality shall be as indicated in the Table below :-
