O R D E R:
In the letter read above the Engineer-in-Chief (PH) has submitted the proposals forproviding drinking water supply facilities to eastern part of Vijayawada city at a cost ofRs.9.70 crores.
2. The Engineer-in-Chief(PH) has also submitted that the Vijayawada MunicipalCorporation vide C.R.No.296, dated 29.4.1999 have resolved to takeup the scheme at anestimate cost of Rs.13.50 crores with their own funds, duly sanctioning an amount ofRs.2.20 crores in the 1st instance for taking up part of the scheme for execution.
3. Government after careful examination of the proposals of the Engineer-in-Chief (PH)hereby accord Administrative sanction of Rs.9.70 crores with a condition of entrusting thework to Public Health Engineering Department with the corporation funds.
4. This order issues with the concurrence of Finance and Planning (FW.EBS.X)Department vide their U.O.No.23126/5/EBS.X/99, dated 10.1.2000.
