           The following notification will be published in the Extra –ordinary issue ofAndhra Pradesh Gazette, dated 2nd February, 2000.

NOTIFICATION

           In exercise of the power conferred by section 15 of the Andhra Pradesh GeneralClauses Act, 1891(Act 1 of 1891), the Government hereby makes the following amendment tothe Notification issued in G O Ms No.38 Municipal Administration and  Urban Development (Elections-II) Department, datedthe 27th   January, 2000.

AMENDMENT

In  the said notification, for the expression “In exercise of the powers delegated in G O Ms No.37 MA & UD Department, dated03-02-1995 under section 8 of the Andhra Pradesh Municipalities Act, 1965 and inaccordance with the Andhra Pradesh  Municipalities( Reservation of seats in Municipal Councils and Nagar Panchayats) Rules, 1995, theCommissioner and Director of Municipal Administration, Andhra Pradesh, Hyderabad underrule 3 of the said rules, the expression.

“In exercise of the powers conferred under section 8 of the Andhra Pradesh MunicipalitiesAct,1965 and rule 3 of the Andhra Pradesh Municipalities ( Reservation of seats inMunicipal Councils and Nagar Panchayats) Rules, 1995, the Government” shall besubstituted

           The aforesaid amendment shall be deemed to have come into force with effect fromthe 27th day of January, 2000.
