           In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (2) of section 1 of the   Andhra Pradesh Municipal Laws  Second (Amendment) Act, 2000 (Act No.14 of 2000),the Governor of Andhra Pradesh hereby appoint the 4th day of May, 2000 as the date onwhich the provisions of the said Act shall come into force.
