NOTIFICATION

           In exercise of the Powers conferred by sub-section[1] of section 326 read withsection 23 of the Andhra Pradesh Municipalities Act, 1965 [Act 6 of 1965] the Governor ofAndhra Pradesh hereby makes the following amendment to the Andhra Pradesh Municipalities[Reservation of seats in Municipal Council and Nagar Panchayats] rules, 1995 issued in G OMs No 36 M A Dated: the 3rd Feburary, 1995.

AMENDMENT

           In the said rules in rule 7, for the words.  “The reservation of seats shall be started afresh without any reference to the reservationof the seats made for earlier elections” the words “ The reservation of seatsshall be started afresh without any reference to the reservation of the seats made priorto issue of the Andhra Pradesh Municipalities [Reservation of seats in Municipal Counciland Nagar Panchayats] Rules, 1995 ” shall be substituted.
