ORDER:

Orders were issued in the G O fifth read above, releasing of Profession Tax,Property Tax and Motor Vehicle Tax compensation towards 3rd quarter for the year 1999-2000.

2. The Commissioner, MunicipalCorporation of Visakahapatnam, in his letter second and fourth read above, has requestedthe Government for release the grant of 4th quarter compensation for the year 1999-2000 asindicated below:

1. Profession TaxCompensation --- Rs.1,34,50,000/-

2. Property TaxCompensation --- Rs. 8,05,000/-

3. Motor Vehicle Tax Compensation --- Rs. 2,68,000/-

3. After careful examinatinof the proposal of the Commissioner, Municipal Corporation of Visakhapatnam, the Government hereby accordsanction of Rs.1,45,23,000/- (Rupees One Crore Fortyfive Lakhs TwentyThree Thousand only )for the release of the amount towardscompensation for the 4th quarter under Non-Plan forthe year 1999-2000, as detailed below under the Head of Account noted against each:

3.Compensation in lieu of Motor Vehicle Tax.	10,72,000/-	8,04,000/-	2,68,000/-	3604 - Compensation and assignment to Local Bodies and P R Institutions. MH 106 - Taxes on Vehicles. SH 06 - Compensation to Municipal Corporation of VSP. 100 - Contributions.(Voted) Contributions.(Charged)

4. The Director of Treasuries and Accounts,Andhra Pradesh, Hyderabad, shall issue authorisation to the District Treasury Officer,Visakhapatnam. The District Treasury Officer shall adjust the amount to the P D Account ofthe Visakhapatnam Municipal Corporation.

5. TheCommissioner, Visakhapatnam Municipal Corporation shall ensure that the amount released is adjusted into his P D Account and to intimate thedrawal / adjustment to Government.

6. ThisOrder issue with the concurrence of Finance and Planning (EFS & T) Department, videtheir U O No.10771/201/A1/expn. - M &F/2K, dated.29-3-2K.
