O R D E R:
           In the circumstances reported by the Director of Mines & Geology through thereference second read above, Government hereby sanction the grant of Mining Lease forQuartz over an extent of 40.40 Acs. or 16.40 Hects. in S.No.329/P of Namasivayapuram (V),Kurichedu (M), Prakasam District for a  periodof 20 years in favour of Sri P.Habeeb Khan, subject to the provisions of Mines &Minerals (D&R) Act, 1957 and the rules made thereunder in general, subject also to theconditions in Form-K prescribed under the MCR, 1960 and to the additional conditionsspecified in the Appendix to this order.

2.          Therates of royalty, dead rent, surface rent and water charges shall be collectable asfollows:

I.           Rates  of Royalty:             QUARTZ       ::  Fifteen Rupees per tonne

II.          Deadrent

III.               Surfacerent and water charges :: As fixed by the Government from time to time.

3.          Thegrantee should pay a deposit of Rs.10,000/- as prescribed under rule 32 of the M.C.Rules, 1960 before the lease is actually executed.

4.          Thegrantee should execute the lease deed within the time limit specified in Rule 31 ofM.C.Rules,1960.

5.          Theterms and conditions referred to in  Para 1 ofthis order are subject to such further modifications, additions  and alterations as may be ordered before the leasedeed is executed.

6.          TheDirector of Mines & Geology is requested to take necessary further action for theexecution of the lease deed after satisfying himself that the grantee fullfills all therequired provisions of the amended Act and Rules.  Assoon as the deed is executed, the date of such execution should be reported to theGovernment.

    NOTE: The grantis liable for cancellation should it be found it was grossly inequitable or was made undera mistake of fact or owing to misrepresentation or fraud or in excess of authority.
