ORDER:
The following applications have been filed forgrant of Prospecting Licence for Calcite, Dolomite, Steatite and White Shale in S.No.80/1Aof T.V.Palli Village, Vempalli Mandal, Cuddapah District:

2. The Director of Mines & Geology in thereference 4th read above has submitted the following proposals:
1) To grant a Prospecting Licence for Calcite, Dolomite, Steatite and White Shale over an extent of 30.364 Hectares in S.No.80/1A of T.V.Palli Village, Vempalli Mandal, Cuddapah District for a period of two years in favour of Sri V.M.Balakrishna Reddy;
2) To grant a Prospecting Licence for Calcite, Dolomite, Steatite and White Shale over an extent of 27.335 Hectares in S.No.80/1A of T.V.Palli Village, Vempalli Mandal, Cuddapah District for a period of two years in favour of Sri J.Madhusudan Reddy
3) To reject the Prospecting Licence application of M/s.Bharath Minerals on the ground that the applied area is completely overlapping with the earlier applications of Sri V.M.Balakrishna Reddy and Sri J.Madhusudan Reddy.
3. The first two applicants have consented forthe reduced extent. Government hereby sanction a Prospecting Licence to SriV.M.Balakrishna Reddy for Calcite, Dolomite, Steatite and White Shale over an extent of30.364 Hectares in S.No.80/1A of T.V.Palli Village, Vempalli Mandal, Cuddapah District fora period of two years subject to the provisions of Mines and Minerals (Regulation &Development) Act of 1957 and the rules made thereunder in general, subject also to theconditions in Form-F prescribed under the Mineral Concession Rules, 1960 and to theadditional conditions specified in the appendix to this order.
4. Government also hereby sanction a ProspectingLicence to Sri J.Madhusudan Reddy for Calcite, Dolomite, Steatite and White Shale over anextent of 27.335 hectares in S.No.80/1A of T.V.Palli Village, Vempalli Mandal, CuddapahDistrict for a period of two years in favour of Sri J.Madhusudan Reddy subject to theprovisions of Mines and Minerals (Regulation & Development) Act of 1957 and the rulesmade thereunder in general, subject also to the conditions in Form-F prescribed under theMineral Concession Rules,1960 and to the additional conditions specified in the appendixto this order.
5. As the applied area of later applicant i.e.,M/s.Bharath Minerals is completely overlapping with the earlier applications of SriV.M.Balakrishna Reddy and Sri J. Madhusudan Reddy, Government hereby reject the PLapplication of M/s.Bharath Minerals.
6. The rate of prospecting fee will be Rs.5/-(Rupees five only) per hectare of the land covered by the licence for each year or portionof a year.
7. The grantee should deposit as security a sumof Rs.500/- per every square kilometre and part thereof as prescribed in Rule 20 of theMineral Concession Rules, 1960 before the licence deed is actually executed.
8. The terms and conditions referred to inparas-3&4 of this order are subject to such further modifications, additions andalterations as may be ordered before the licence deed is executed.
9. The grantee should execute the licence deedwithin the time limit specified in Rule 15 of Mineral Concession Rules, 1960.
10. The Director of Mines and Geology isrequested to take necessary further action for the execution of the licence deed aftersatisfying himself that the grantee holds a valid M.R.C.C. and the current I.T.C.C. Assoon as the licence deed is executed, the date of such execution should be reported to theGovernment.
Note:- The grant is liable to cancellation should it be found that it was grossly inequitable or was made under a mistake of fact or owing to misrepresentation or fraud or in excess of authority.
