O R D E R:

In the G.O. first read above permission has been accorded to fill up the vacancies of Civil Assistant Surgeons and paramedical staff on contract basis. It has also been authorized the District Collectors in the State to fill up the Civil Assistant Surgeons and essential paramedical categories on contract basis as and when vacancies arise.

2. In the G.O. second read above, orders were issued for creation of posts of 1210 paramedical staff for Primary Health Centres, Community Health Centres and Hospitals set up and upgraded from 1994 onwards. Accordingly in the reference third read above, orders were issued to fill up the posts inter-alia Paramedical posts sanctioned in the G.O. second read above by way of outsourcing duly following the procedure as per rules.

3. In the reference fourth read above, the Director of Health has requested the Govt. to issue necessary orders in the matter.

4. After careful examination, it was decided that in modification of the orders issued in the G.O. third read above, all the paramedical posts sanctioned in the reference second read above be filled up on contract basis initially for a period of one year duly following the procedure laid down in the G.O.Rt.No.459, Health, Medical & Family Welfare (J2) Department, dated 22.5.2002 and the guidelines issued in G.O.Rt.No.12, Health, Medical & Family Welfare (J2) Department, dated 5.1.2004 instead of outsourcing.

5. The Director of Health, A.P., Hyderabad is requested to issue notification for recruitment of 1210 Paramedical vacancies temporarily on contract basis under the administrative control of the Director of Health and Commissioner, A.P.Vaidya Vidhana Parishad. The rule of reservation shall also be followed as per the rules in vogue. The respective Committees constituted in G.O.Rt.No.217, Health, Medical & Family Welfare (J2) Department, dated 26.2.2001, will make the selection of the candidates to the above vacancies.

6. The Director of Health, is further directed to allot the selected candidates to the extent required to the Commissioner, A.P. Vaidya Vidhana Parishad.

7. The Director of Health, A.P., Hyderabad / Commissioner, A.P. Vaidya Vidhana Parishad, shall take necessary action accordingly.

8. This order issues with concurrence of Finance (SMPC) Department vide their U.O.No.26957-B/1470/A3/SMPC/06, dated 18.10.2006.
