ORDER:

 

In the G.O. first read above, Government have issued Essentiality Certificate for establishment of Government College of Nursing at RIMS, Kadapa with an intake capacity of fifty (50), subject to affiliation to N.T.R University of Health Sciences and clearance from Indian Nursing Council, New Delhi from the academic year 2006-07.

 

2.       In the letter second read above, the Director of Medical Education has stated that the attached hospital of RIMS, Kadapa which is a functional 750 bedded hospital and has necessary departments with clinical laboratories for training and teaching purpose with qualified teaching staff and the institute and administrative block is having sufficient built up area. He has therefore requested the Government to issue Essentiality Certificate, which is necessary for establishment of New College of Nursing with intake capacity of 100 students per annum at Kadapa attached to Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Medical Sciences, Kadapa.

 

3.       Government after careful examination of the matter and in partial modification of intake capacity of fifty sanctioned in the G.O. first read above, hereby revise the intake capacity as one hundred (100), instead of fifty (50) to Government College of Nursing in Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS), Kadapa.

 

4.       The Director of Medical Education/ Registrar, Dr.N.T.R University of Health Sciences shall take necessary action in the matter accordingly.
