In the G.O. second read above, order have been issued constituting a committee with the following members to scrutinise the bills of the private hospitals and Nizam’s Institute of Medical Sciences, Hyderabad, as per package rates i.e. 20% less than N.I.M.S. rates, approve and recommend to the Director of Medical Education, Hyderabad for payment towards cost of expenditure incurred on surgeries done to the children suffering with heart diseases:-
1. The Director of Medical Education, A.P., Hyderabad Chairman
2. The Director of Health, A.P., Hyderabad Member
3. The Commissioner, A.P. Vaidya Vidhana Parishad, Hyderabad Member
4. Head of the Dept. of Cardiology, Osmania Medical Col, Hyderabad Member.
5. Head of the Dept. of Cardiology, Gandhi Medical Col, Hyderabad Member.
2. In the letter third read above, the Director of Medical Education has stated that the Cardiothorasic Surgeons of Osmania Medical College, Hyderabad and Gandhi Medical College, Secunderabad have been not included in the committee. But it is essential that the scrutiny of Cardiac surgical bills be done by the concerned specialist surgeons.
3. The Director of Medical Education has requested to include the following Cardiothorasic Surgeons in the above committee for expert scrutiny regarding surgical aspects and their necessity:-

7. Chief Cardiothorasic Surgeon, Gandhi Hospital, Sec-bad. Member
4. Govt. after consideration of the matter have accepted the recommendation of the Director of Medical Education. Accordingly the following amendment is issued to G.O.Ms.No.363, HM&FW(K1) Department, dated 1-10-2004.
5. After serial No.5 in para 2. of G.O.Ms.No.363, HM&FW (K1) Department, dated 1-10-2004, the following shall be added, namely:-
8. Chief Cardiothorasic Surgeon, OGH, Hyderabad Member
9. Chief Cardiothorasic Surgeon, Gandhi Hospital, Sec-bad. Member
6. The Director of Medical Education shall take necessary action in the matter accordingly.
