O R D E R:
In the G.Os first read above, Government have recognised (1) All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi and (2) Willingdon Hospital, New Delhi as referral hospitals for securing treatment to State Government employees.
2. In the letters 2nd to 4th read above, the Resident Commissioner, A.P. Government Guest House, New Delhi has requested the Government to recognise the following reputed private hospitals in Delhi, where specialised treatments are available for the purpose of treatment for Medical Reimbursement for the staff of the State Govt. residing in Delhi. He has stated that the limit and the pattern would be the same as laid down by the Government. The names of the Private Hospitals are indicated below:
1) Apollo Hospital, New Delhi
2) Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, New Delhi
3) Janki Das Memorial Hospital, New Delhi
4) Rajiv Gandhi Cancer Institute, New Delhi
5) Sitaram Bhartia Hospital, New Delhi
6) Apollo Millennium Hospital, New Delhi
7) Escorts Hospital, New Delhi
8) St. Stephen Hospital, New Delhi
3. Government after careful consideration of the matter hereby recognise the following eight private hospitals, which are recognised by CGHS, as referral hospitals for the purpose of treatment to State Govt. employees and their dependents and retired State Govt. employees and their dependents, who are working/ worked in A.P. Bhavan, New Delhi, A.P. Government Guest House, New Delhi, and settled in New Delhi:
1) Apollo Hospital, New Delhi
2) Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, New Delhi
3) Janki Das Memorial Hospital, New Delhi
4) Rajiv Gandhi Cancer Institute, New Delhi
5) Sitaram Bhartia Hospital, New Delhi
6) Apollo Millenium Hospital, New Delhi
7) Escorts Hospital, New Delhi
8) St. Stephen Hospital, New Delhi
4. The permission accorded in para (3) above is subject to adhering to the following conditions:-
(1) The Medical officer of Govt. Civil Dispensary attached to A.P.Bhavan/A.P. Guest House, New Delhi is authorised to scrutinise, certify and clear the medical reimbursement claims up to Rs.10,000/- (Rupees ten thousand only). Subject to following rules and instructions issued by Govt. HM&FW Dept., from time to time.
(2) Reimbursement claim for the treatment obtained as out patient in the above private hospitals is not admissible.
(3) Medical reimbursement claim for the treatment obtained in any un- recognised private hospital is not admissible.
(4) The Medical bills and admissibility of medicines shall be scrutinised by the Govt. Medical Officer, Dispensary, A.P. Bhavan, New Delhi, as per APIMA Rules 1972.
(5) The scrutiny of medical claims of employees and their dependents above Rs.10,000/- will however be continued with that of Director of Medical Education, Koti, A.P., Hyderabad or other authorised official approved by Govt. in HM&FW Dept., from time to time.
(6) If any relaxation of rules are required the proposal should be sent to the concerned administrative Department of Secretariat for taking necessary action.
(7) The Sanctioning authority for the medical reimbursement claims shall be the Resident Commissioner, A.P. Bhavan, New Delhi.
(8) Any false claims preferred by those employees will be liable for stringent action including criminal action for cheating both against the Medical officer and the claimant Government employee.
5. The Residential Commissioner, A.P. Bhavan, New Delhi/ Director of Medical Education, A.P., Hyderabad shall take necessary action in the matter accordingly.
6. This order issues with the concurrence of Finance Department vide their U.O.No.14233/PFS/1044/A2/Exp.HM&FW-I/2003, dated 30-12-2003.
