O R D E R:

 

In the G.O. first read above, Government have issued orders for starting / increasing 474 Post Graduate seats and 19 Super Speciality seats in various Government Medical Colleges in the State.

 

2.       In the G.O’s second and third read above orders have been for starting 3 courses with 3 seats in Gandhi Medical College Hyderabad and 10 courses with 17 seats in Siddartha Medical College, Vijayawada.

 

3.     Government of India have accorded permission for starting of the following courses for the academic year 2003-2004 as given below:-

4.       Government, after careful consideration of the matter, here by accord permission for starting of the above 6 P.G. Courses with Seventeen (17) seats in (1) Osmania Medical College, Hyderabad  (2) Andhra Medical College, Visakhapatnam (3) Kurnool Medical College, Kurnool and (4) Kakatiya Medical College, Warangal respectively as mentioned in para (3) above for which final permission has been given by Government of India for the academic year 2003-2004.

 

5.     The additional expenditure incurred on payment of stipend to the Seventeen (17) seats of 6 P.G. courses will be as prescribed in G.O.Ms.No.410, HM&FW (E2) Dept, dt:18-10-2002 and shall be met by the Director of Medical Education, A.P., Hyderabad from the existing budget for the year 2003-2004.  The Director of Medical Education is requested to send necessary budget proposal from next year onwards to include the same in the budget estimates for 2004 –2005.

 

6.     The Registrar NTR University of Health Sciences, Vijayawada/ Director of Medical Education, Hyderabad shall take necessary further action in the matter immediately.
