ORDER:-

       The Commissioner, A.P.Vaidya Vidhana Parishad, Hyderabad in his letters 5th read above has recommended the request of the Hospital Diet Canteen Suppliers Welfare Association, Hyderabad for enhancement of diet charges to the In-patients from the existing rates from Rs.10/- to Rs.15/- under the control of A.P.Vaidya Vidhana Parishad  Hospitals on par with the Teaching Hospitals, subject to fulfillment of conditions and caloric value contemplated in the reference first and third read above.

      

2.     In the G.O.2nd read above, orders were issued enhancing the diet charges for T.B. and mental patients of teaching Hospitals from Rs.15/- to Rs.20/- per patient / day with 2400 K Caloric diet with 80 grams protein.

 

3.     Government after careful examination of the matter, hereby revise the existing diet charges from Rs.10/- to Rs.15/- to the In-patients (all categories) and also payment of Rs.20/- for T.B. and Mental Patients in the Hospitals under the control of  A.P.Vaidya Vidhana Parishad on par with teaching hospitals with immediate effect subject to fulfillment of conditions and caloric value contemplated vide G.Os 1st and second and Memo third read above and also subject  to meeting  the additional expenditure from non-salary grant savings of A.P.Vaidya Vidhana Parishad  under 310/312 Other Grant in aid without providing additional funds.

 

4.     This order issues with the concurrence of Finance (EBS.VIII) Dept., vide their U.O.No.1152/107/A1/EBS.VIII/02, dated 06.07.2002.
