O R D E R:

            An amount of Rs.1,23,93,000/- has been provided in theNon-Plan budget for 2001-2002 towards assistance to NTR University of HealthSciences, Vijayawada  to meet theexpenditure on account of salaries and other expenditure as detailed below:

2.         In the G.0s. 3rd to 5th read above,the Government have already released a sum of Rs. 92,94,500/-  to NTRUniversity of Health Sciences, Vijayawada, to meet the expenditure on accountof salaries and other expenditure towards 1st, 2nd and 3rdquarter periods of 2001 – 2002.

3.         In the G.0. 7th read above, the FinanceDepartment have issued budget release orders for an amount of Rs. 30,98,000/-to NTR University of Health Sciences, Vijayawada to meet the expenditure onaccount of salaries and other expenditure during 4th quarter periodof 2001 – 2002.

4.         The Government after careful examination of the matterhereby accord sanction for an amount of Rs. 30,98,000/- (Rupees thirty lakhsand ninety eight thousand only) to the Registrar, NTR University of HealthSciences, Vijayawada to meet the expenditure on account of salaries and otherexpenditure during 4th quarter period of 2001 – 2002 as mentioned inthe G.0. 7th  readabove. 

5.         The expenditure sanctioned in para (4) above shall bedebited to the following Head of Account:

            2210 –Medical & Public Health –

05    -  Medical Education, Training & Research.

105    -  Allopathy

   SH   (23)  -  Assistance to UHS

6.         The District Treasury Officer, Krishna shall on receipt ofthe orders from the Government adjust the amount sanctioned in para (4) aboveto P.D. Account of NTR University of Health Sciences, Vijayawada by creditingto Head of Account 8448 – Deposits of Local Funds – MH 110 – Educational Funds– SH (23) Deposits of UHS”.  TheRegistrar/Finance Officer, NTR University of Health Sciences, Vijayawada isauthorized to operate the P.D. Account. The amount from the P.D. Account shall be drawn with reference to theneed and amount so drawn shall be utilized for the purpose for which it isreleased.  The amount deposited in P.D.Account shall not be drawn for depositing in any scheduled bank, by theRegistrar/Finance Officer, NTR University of Health Sciences, Vijayawada.

7.         The Registrar, NTR University of Health Sciences, Vijayawadashall furnish the utilization certificate for the Grant-in-aid now released.

8.         This order issues with the concurrence of Finance (EBS.VIII)Department vide their G.O.Ms.No.76, Finance (EBS.VIII) Department,dt.29.1.2002.
