In theG.0.1st read above, the Director of Medical Education has beenpermitted to recruit the required staff including Doctors, Technical andPara-Medical Staff on contract basis in Government Medical College, Ananthapur.
2. In therepresentation 2nd read above, it was brought to the notice ofGovernment that due to appointment of staff on contact basis even forpromotional posts, the existing staff of the Department are deprived of theirchances of promotion to the higher category and therefore requested theGovernment not to fill up such posts on contract basis.
3. The Government after careful consideration of the matterhereby direct that the vacancies arising in promotional posts be filled up byregular staff if they are eligible for promotion. If no such serving eligible staff are available for promotion,such vacancies/posts may be filled up on contract basis with retired persons.
4. The ordersissued in the G.0. 1st read above are modified to above extent andDirector of Medical Education shall take action accordingly.
