 Health Medical & Family WelfareDepartment – Appointment of Dr.M.Venkateshwarlu, PH.D., Engineer-in-Chief (PR) (Retd)as advisor ( Management Information System) to Government of A.P., Panchayat Raj &Rural Development Department, Secretariat, Hyderabad for a period of one year on contractbasis to set up a computarised Management Information System – Appointed as Advisorin Health Medical & Family Welfare Department -Orders – Issued.

O R D E R:

The Government of Andhra Pradesh have felt the need for having a propercomputerised Management Information System to plan and monitor the activities andProgrammes in A.P.Accordingly, Government in Panchayat Raj & Rural DevelopmentDepartment have appointed Dr.M.Venkateshwarlu, Ph.D, Engineer-in-Chief (PR) (Retd) asAdvisor ( Management Information System) to Government of A.P. on contract basis for aperiod of one year.

2.In the Department of Health Medical & Family Welfare Departmentcomputerisation and net working with various hospitals and Primary Health Centres has notbeen done though some computerisation has been attended in Andhra Pradesh Vaidya VidhanaParishad, still lot of work has to be done to update it. Hence, it is felt necessary toimplement various Programmes of the State inInformation Technology by appointing an advisor for effective implementation of ManagementInformation System, in the Department of Health Medical & Family Welfare Department.

3.Government have therefore decided to utilise the services of Dr.M.Venkateshwarluand accordingly hereby appointed Dr.M.Venkateshwarlu as Advisor ( Management InformationSystem ) in Health Medical & Family Welfare Department in addition to his work asAdvisor in Panchayat Raj & Rural Development Department in addition to his work asAdvisor in Panchayat Raj & Rural Development Departmentfor development of computerisation and networking with various Hospitals and primary Health Centres in Health Medical & FamilyWelfare Department for a period of one year, to coordinate and update computerisation asan additional arrangement without any charge in the terms and conditions as specified inthe G.O. read above.

4.The Managing Director, A.P.Health Medical Housing Infrastructure DevelopmentCorporation, Hyderabad is requested to provide accomadation to Dr.M.Venkateshwarlu,Advisor ( Management Information System ) in his office to enable him to coordinate thework among all Heads of Departments under the control of Health Medical & FamilyWelfare Department to effective implementation of various programmes of the Government, inconnection with the Information Technology.
