The following notification shall be published in the next issueof A.P. Gazette:
NOTIFICATION
Under Rule 10 of A.P. State and Subordinate Service Rules, 1996read with Special Rules for A.P. Medical and Health Servicfes, the following Professors(Clinical/Non-clinical) are promoted temporarily as Additional Director of Medical Education / Principal of Medical College / Superintendent of Teaching GeneralHospital in the scale of pay of Rs.11650-450-13900-525-17575 with usual allowancesapplicable to the post from time to time:
(1) Dr. G. Shakuntala;
(2) Dr. N. Indira Balamani;
(3) Dr. P. Kulasekharan;
(4) Dr. E. Lakshmi;
(5) Dr. P. Jagadish Prasad;
(6) Dr. C. Ram Prasad;
(7) Dr. S. Venkataswamy;
(8) Dr. J. Sudhakar; and
(9) Dr. M. Saraswathi.
2. The promotions ordred above are subject to the outcome ofW.Ps./W.As/O.As/C.As. etc., if any, pending before Tribunal or Courts and purely temporaryand liable to be reverted to their lower substantive post at any time without notice andwithout assigning any reason therefor.
3. The Professor (Clinical) / (Non-Clinical) appointed asAdditional Director of Medical Education / Principal of Medical College / Superintendentof Teaching General Hospital should join the said post within (15) days from the date ofreceipt of this order. If he/she fails to join or evade joining by applying for leave orotherwise during the stipulated time, he/she shall forfeit all his/her rights both atpresent and future for the post of Additional Director of Medical Education / Principal ofMedical College / Superintendent of Teaching General Hospital in terms of Rule 11(b) ofA.P. State and

Medical College, Tirupathi in the regular post vice Dr. K. Nageswara Rao,transferred and as Professor of Obstretics & Gynaecology, S.V. Medical College /S.V.R.R. Hospital, Tirupathi in the existing vacancy.
2. Dr.N. Indira Balamani, Professor of Microbiology, SiddharthaMedical College, Vijayawada on promotion as Additional Director of Medical Education /Principal of Medical College / Superintendent of Teaching General Hospital is posted asAdditional Director of Medical Education / Principal, Siddhartha Medical College,Vijayawada in the existing regular vacancy and Professor of Microbiology, SiddharthaMedical College, Vijayawada in the existing regular vacancy.
3. Dr.P. Kulasekharan, Professor of Ophthalmology, OsmaniaMedical College / S.D. Eye Hospital, Hyderabad on promotion as Additional Director ofMedical Education / Principal of Medical College / Superintendent of Teaching GeneralHospital is posted as Additional Director of Medical Education / AdditionalSuperintendent, Osmania General Hospital, Hyderabad in the regular post vice Dr.Y.Satyanarayana, Additional Superintendent transferred and shall continue as Professor ofOphthalmology, Osmania Medical College / Sarojini Devi Eye Hospital, Hyderabad.
4. Dr.E. Lakshmi, Professor of Physiology, Andhra MedicalCollege, Visakhapatnam is transferred on promotion as Additional Director of MedicalEducation / Principal of Medical College / Superintendent of Teaching General Hospital isposted as Additional Director of Medical Education / Principal, S.V. Medical College,Tirupathi in the regular vacancy arising on 01-07-2000 FN due to retirement of Dr. G.Shakuntala and Professor of Physiology, S.V. Medical College, Tirupathi vice Dr. N.Mallikarjuna Reddy, Professor of Physiology, transferred.
5. Dr. P. Jagadish Prasad, Professor of Pharmacology, KakatiyaMedical College, Warangal on promotion as Additional Director of Medical Education /Principal of Medical College / Superintendent of Teaching General Hospital is posted as Additional Director of Medical Education/Principal, Kakatiya Medical College,Warangal in the regular post and shall continue as Professor of Pharmacology, KakatiyaMedical College, Warangal.
6. Dr.C. Ram Prasad, Professor of Pathology, Kakatiya MedicalCollege, Warangal is transferred on promotion as Additional Director of Medical Education/ Principal of Medical College / Superintendent of Teaching General Hospital is posted asAdditional Director of Medical Education / Principal, Kurnool Medical College, Kurnool inthe vacancy arising on 01-07-2000 due to retirement of Dr.T. Ramakrishna Reddy andProfessor of Pathology, Kurnool Medical College, Kurnool with directions to draw salaryagainst the post of Professor of Cardiology.
7. Dr.S. Venkata Swamy, Professor of Anaesthesia, Guntur MedicalCollege / Government General Hospital, Guntur is transferred on promotion as AdditionalDirector of Medical Education / Principal of Medical College / Superintendent of TeachingGeneral Hospital is posted as Additional Director of Medical Education / Superintendent,Government General Hospital, Kakinada w.e.f. 01-07-2000 in the vacancy arising dueto transfer of Dr. P. Subrahmanyam and Professor of Anaesthesia, Rangaraya Medical College/ Government General Hospital, Kakinada vice Dr. R. Pratap, Professor of Anaesthesia,transferred.

Sudhakar, Professor of Ophthalmology, Kakatiya MedicalCollege / Regional Eye Hospital, Warangal on promotion as Additional Director of Medical Education / Principal of Medical College / Superintendent of TeachingGeneral Hospital is posted as Additional Director of Medical Education / Superintendent,M.G.M. Hospital, Warangal in the vacancy arising due to retirement of Dr. B. Subba Rao,w.e.f. 01-07-2000 and Professor of Ophthalmology, Kakatiya Medical College / M.G.M.Hospital, Warangal in the exisitng vacancy.
9. Dr. M. Saraswathi, Professor of Paediatrics, Osmania MedicalCollege/ Niloufer Hospital, Hydrabad transferred on promotion as Additional Director ofMedical Education / Principal of Medical College / Superintendent of TeachingGeneralHospital is posted as Additional Director of Medical Education / Superintendent,Government General Hospital, Anantapur in the arising vacancy due to retirement of Dr. R.Ramudu w.e.f. 01-07-2000 and Professor of Paediatrics, Anantaopur Medical College /Government General Hospital, Anantapur in the existing vacancy.

14. On relief Dr. N. Mallikarjuna Reddy, Professor of Physiology,S.V. Medical College, Tirupathi is posted as Professor of Physiology, Government MedicalCollege, Anantapur in the existing vacancy.
15. On relief Dr. R. Pratap, Professor of Anaesthesia, RangarayaMedical College / Government General Hospital, Kakinada is posted as Professor ofAnanesthesia, Guntur Medical College / Government General Hospital, Guntur in the existingvacancy.
5. The transfer of the doctors at Sl.No.10 to 13 were ordered ontheir request. Hence they are not entitled to T.T.A. and joining time.
6. The Director of Medical Education shall implement the aboveorders and report their date of joining.
