O R D E R :-

It has been brought to the notice of Government that an amount ofRs.46,32,629/- was drawn unauthorisedly by the staff of PHC: Julurpadu, Khammam districtwith the collusion of the staff of concerned Sub Treasury Officer, Kothagudem andmisappropriated during the period from April,1990 to September,1996. Government haveissued orders with necessary instructions to the Director of Health for taking actionagainst the concerned as per A.P.C.S.(CC& A) Rules, 1991 and as per Article 300-302 ofA.P.Financial Code, Volume - I and recovery and attachment of the property, pendinginvestigation vide reference 3rd read above.The concerned Senior Assistant of HealthDepartment has been placed under suspension. The Government reviewed the progress made inthis case from time to time and felt to entrust the case to CB CID for speedy enquiry intothe matter.

2. Government after careful examination of the matter herebyorder to entrust the case of misappropriation of Government funds to a tune of Rs.46.32lakhs in PHC: Julurpadu, Khammam district April 1990 to September,1996 to the DirectorGeneral, CB CID.,A.P.,Hyderabad to enquire into the allegations and furnish the Inquiryreport to Government within three months positively.Government also direct that theattachment of the movable and immovable properties of the concerned delinquent officialsshall be done immediately as per the amended act of criminal law.

3. The Director General, CB CID shall initiate necessary furtheraction accordingly.

4. This order issues with the concurrence of Home Department  vide their U.O.No.36/SC-B1/2000-2 dt. 1.5.2000.
