O R D E R :-
1. In the G.O. 2nd read above, orders were issued reviving the Scheme of the Incentive Awards for the Government employees. In the G.O. 3rd read above orders were issued modifying the Scheme of Incentive Awards in regard to fixing of time limit for considering the cases and enhanced the cash awards from Rs. 1,000/- upto Rs.10,000/-. In the G.O. 4th read above orders were issued constituting the Incentive Awards Committee.
2. The Incentive Awards Committee met on 31.1.2003 and considered the proposal received from General Administration Department, Revenue Department, Education Department, Environment, Forest, Science & Technology Department, Home Department, Women, Development, Child Welfare & Disabled Welfare Department, Panchayat Raj & Rural Development Department for grant of Incentive Awards to officers and employees working under their administrative control and made its recommendations.
3. Government examined the matter and decided to accept the recommendations made by the Incentive Awards Committee. Accordingly, Government hereby sanction the Incentive Awards to the Officers as detailed below:

4. The Head of the Department should ensure that no enquiries / investigations for serious irregularities / ACB cases etc., are pending / contemplated against Government employees referred to in para 3 above while sanctioning the Award.
5. The expenditure towards the advance increments and cash awards sanctioned above under the "Incentive Awards Scheme" shall be debited to the detailed Head "050 – Rewards" under relevance Major, Minor and Sub-Head of Accounts of the concerned Departments and if the budget provision is not available, the expenditure shall be incurred by way of re-appropriation from the savings available in other sub-heads in the same demand.
6. The advance increment sanctioned in para 3 above shall not be merged with pay for the purpose of fixation at any stage.

8. This order issues with the concurrence of Finance Department vide their U.O.No.1383/48/EBS.I/A1/2003, dt.26.2.2003.
