O R D E R:
In the State level Workshop on Performance Indicators held on 16th and 17th May, 2002 at Dr. MCRHRD Institute, Hyderabad, Chaired by the Hon’ble Chief Minister and participated by Council of Ministers, Spl.Chief Secretaries/ Prl.Secretaries/ Secretaries to Government and Heads of Departments the following recommendation, among others, was made under Good Governance.
"Effective inspection of Subordinate offices – to monitor violations of rules/procedures by staff".
2. Government has accepted the above recommendation. Government direct that inspections undertaken should not be a routine fashion. The Inspecting Officers should invariably examine the cases of violations of rules/procedures by the Staff and issue necessary instructions. Inspection Reports should be reviewed and monitored at the next higher level. Heads of Departments should submit inspection reports on a monthly basis to the Secretaries and Secretaries to the Minister concerned.
