ORDER:
In the G.O. 1st read above, orders were issued lifting ban
orders on transfers. It has been the experience of the Government that when
general transfers are made, there will be an exodus of officers and staff from
Tribal and Backward areas to other areas and posts in Tribal and Backward areas
remain vacant for a long time. As a result, administration in Tribal and
Backward areas gets effected adversely.
2. The Government have, therefore, decided
that no officer or staff member working in Tribal and Backward areas be
relieved on transfer, unless a substitute joins in his/her place. All the Heads
of Departments/Collectors/Project Officers, Integrated Tribal Development
Agencies are requested to follow the above instructions scrupulously.
3. The receipt of this G.O. shall be
acknowledged.
