Read the following:-

O R D E R:

In the G.O. first read above, ordershave been issued for providing relief to the dependents of the deceased Governmentservants who die in harness while in service by providing compassionate appointment to thespouse or the dependent children of the deceased Government servant to the posts the payof which is equal or less than that of Lower division Clerk (Junior Assistant) without themedia of Employment Exchange and Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission, subject tocertain conditions specified therein as also in various orders issued from time to time,on the scheme, as a social security measure.

2. In para 2 (iii) of the G.O.second read above, it has been ordered that where the deceased employee does not have anymale child but leaves behind him/her a married daughter and an unmarried minor daughter,the choice of selecting on eof them for appointment under the social security scheme shallbe left to the spouse of the deceased.

3. Certain cases have been referredto the Government seeking clarification for compassionate appointment of married daughterin cases where the deceased Government employee is having only a married daughter andspouse without any other children.

4. In such cases Government herebyclarify that when there is only a married daughter to the deceased Government employeewithout older or younger brothers or sisters and the spouse of the deceased Governmentemployee is not willing to avail the compassionate appointment, such married daughter maybe considered for compassionate appointment, provided she is dependent on the deceasedGovernment employee and subject to satisfying, the other conditions and instructionsissued on the scheme from time to time.
