ORDER:
In the G.O. 2 nd read above, Government have revised the Pay Scales of State Government employees, on the recommendations of Pay Revision Commission, 2005 with effect from 01-07-2003 notionally and with monetary benefit from 01-04-2005.
2. The Pay Revision Commission, 2005 among others has recommended enhancement of eligibility ceiling in respect of House Building Advance to the State Government employees, in the Revised Pay Scales 2005.
3. Government, after careful consideration of the recommendations of the Pay Revision Commission, 2005, and in modification of the orders issued in G.O. 3rd read above, hereby enhance the existing ceiling of House Building Advance to the State Government employees as recommended by the Pay Revision Commission, 2005, as follows:

(a) Employees drawing basic pay Rs.3.50 lakhs or 72 times of basic pay
Upto Rs.7770/- per month whichever is less.
(b) Employees drawing basic pay Rs.4.00 lakhs -do-

Rs.12325/- p.m.
(c )Employees drawing basic pay Rs.4.50 lakhs -do-
above Rs.12325/- p.m. and upto
Rs.17905/- p.m.
(d) Employees drawing basic pay Rs.5.50 lakhs -do-
above Rs.17905/- p.m.

4. Further, Government order that the House Building Advance for repairs/ enlargements shall continue to be at 15 times of basic pay (Revised Pay Scales, 2005) subject to a maximum ceiling of Rs.90,000/-
5. Government also considered and orders the following revised recovery pattern as per the recommendations of the Commission.
House Building Advance: 300 monthly installments i.e., 240 principal + 60 interest.
Repairs : 90 monthly installments i.e., 75 principal + 15 interest.
House site : 72 monthly installments i.e., 60 principal + 12 interest.
6. All other conditions governing the sanction of House Building Advance under the existing Rules will continue.
7. These orders shall come into force from 01-04-2006.
